Devanshu Tak is a 3D artist, VFX technical director, CG generalist, and creative technologist based in India. As a freelance 3D artist and animator since 2018, he works across advertising, film VFX, real-time, and game development, covering the full 3D pipeline: look development, lighting, 3D animation, compositing, pipeline automation, tool development, and interactive visualization.

His skill set as a 3D designer and VFX artist includes 3D modelling, texturing, rigging, animation, compositing, scripting, photogrammetry, and gaussian splatting. TV advertisement for Google Shopping produced with Shapeshifter and Chalk & Cheese. Devanshu led the CG side of this project, handling 3D animation, fluid simulation, and visual effects compositing. The commercial featured character animation, product visualization, and dynamic particle effects for a festive Diwali theme.

Kala HIT Stop Dengue

TV advertisement for Godrej HIT produced with Shapeshifter and Chalk & Cheese. Devanshu handled character rigging, cloth simulation, and VFX. The project required building a complete character animation pipeline with realistic simulation of fabric, liquid, and environmental effects.

Netflix Indian Predator Title Sequence

Title sequence for Netflix's Indian Predator documentary series, produced with Post Office Studios. Devanshu managed end-to-end 3D production: modelling, texturing, lighting, animation, and compositing. The dark, atmospheric CG work set the visual tone for the true crime series.

BGMI Animated Music Video for Krafton

Animated music video for BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India) new lobby music, produced with LanLan Studios for Krafton. Devanshu created 3D environment blockouts and character animations, translating the game's visual language into a cinematic music video with real-time 3D techniques.

Intro sequence for Ponniyin Selvan I, a major Indian feature film by Madras Talkies. Devanshu contributed layout, animation, FX, and lighting as part of the Plexus and Shapeshifter VFX team. The work involved large-scale historical 3D environments and epic character animation sequences.
